Thursday trip 18 October.

Hi folks,

Apologies this is late.  

There are two trips this week.

TRIP No. 1: Doug's dig/well.  Breakthrough week     no. 129! We are closer than ever to a breakthrough into the mine.

MEET POINT: Doug's manor.
MEET TIME: 6:30pm onwards
EQUIPMENT: Caving suit/overalls, boots/wellies, gloves, helmet and lamp, change of clothes, waterproofs optional.

TRIP No. 2: Assist Murph at Garreg Boeth shaft. You will need to be SRT competent to help down the shaft.  

MEET TIME: 6:30pm although Murph will be there from 3pm so you are welcome to join him earlier.
MEET POINT: GB Shaft, Hendre. Parking opposite the field in Hendre on the Mold-Denbigh road. Please avoid parking directly in front of houses where possible and do not block any gateways or driveways.
EQUIPMENT REQ'D: SRT gear, caving suit/overalls, wellies, gloves, helmet and lamp. We also recommend a change of clothes.


Due to working nights for next fortnight, I am unable to make it underground or to the pub.

I will be going to GB shaft at 3.0 pm but could do with 1 or 2 bodies at 6.30 pm if they are not going to dougs but they must be SRT confident as there is a 35 ft absail,mick
