Early hour musings are soooooooo frustrating!!!


Why ...

Why can't I go to work when awake
Stay in bed when I want to sleep

Why when I labour so very hard
Do I seem to be standing still

Why is it that, despite a good life
I'm full of self pity and weep

Why do I dwell on this nonsense?
I'm so past it, gone 'over the hill'!
