ok - firming up plans - I have cross posted an invite to the DCC and further to a bit of research I have a mind to set the venue @ knotlow // hillocks system - a collection of combined mines and intersected cave passages

there are 4 entrances - with SRT of between 3 pitches max 15m and a single 65m shaft with a 30m shat of 3 rebelays as an alternate

this is just a suggestion - if anyone insists on the original giants hole idea - we will revert to that

ok - its " the monment of truth "

time to commit - I know its the scott j trip Saturday [ I am going ] - but as I have committed my self to an essential errand - and booked accommodation - I HAVE TO go to Derbyshire once I leve the Saturday wales trip

the knotlow hillock system - 4 connected shafts of various SRT challenge . meet 10:00 at the " bull I` t` thorn " carpark adgacent to the A515 , 2 km from the villiage of monyash

now I need to know - who if anyone is coming - theres no pressure

but as I will be there anyway - I need to know before 6:00 Saturday morning if I need the rigging gear and stuff to do the trip - or I will pack my DSLR and bicycle and have a mooch around the darkpeak

that's all - either commit or decline - so I can pack correctly

Should be there for 10am but I'm hoping to do the CRTT on Saturday so will try not to be late.
We will be on Derbyshire time though :lol:

will be bringing spare ropes, mike is picking me up at the shell garage just of the motorway at 8.45/9.0 am.
if tim or any one else comes mike can drop them of with me and I will take the van and extra kit on to hillocks.
