I popped into Cambrian Photography in Colwyn Bay today to see about fixing my Canon Rebel XT DSLR, but the cost of fixing was approx £130!!! It would have cost the same to buy a second hand camera body.

So rather than throw money at an aging camera I've decided to upgrade slightly as I wan't to TRY and get some half decent pics whilst underground, so I ended up getting a Canon EOS 550D. Thought best to stick with Canon, as I can still use my remote shutter release, and my 28-200mm lens that I already have.

So fingers crossed, some better photograph's will be appearing on future trips (although I don't fancy taking it into Poachers   )

I'll second this. Pretty much a Peli-case, without the fancy name attached to it.

If it's not uber-wet, you may well get away with a dry-bag instead, far less bulk and weight.
You want me to go down *there*? On a bloody *rope*?
