Hi all,

I have received a request - copied and pasted below.

If you feel you could help, please indicate below and I will send you her email address (UCET members only please)

Fanks :)

Hi,

someone on the UK Caving Forum pointed me in your direction.

I am currently walking the Offa‘s Dyke Path and will be finishing it 21.8.22 in Prestatyn. As I am faster than anticipated I have a few more days on my hand to spend before I need to go back to Bristol on 26.8.22 and then home   .

So I was wondering if there could be the possibility to go caving. Maybe someone of your group would like to take me along for a trip during 22.8.-25.8.22?

There are a few constriction, though: As I am backpacking and camping I unfortunately don’t have my caving gear with me so I would need to borrow everything  . And I rely on public transport.

Some facts about me: I am 47, from Germany and have mainly been caving in Saxony and Czechia - small constricted dusty caves in sandstone. However whenever I am on vacation I try to fit some caves in, e.g. Slovenia. In April I participated in  a basic course in Caving. So there is some experience.

I would love to hear from you.

Cheers Stefanie

C'mon peeps, there must be someone willing to take Stefanie into Poacher's cave or Spar mine - both nearby and both easy  B)  B)  B)

We could put a poacher’s trip on the Thursday 25th

We "could" - she needs collecting (Prestatyn?) and taking back and she needs the kit.

It really needs a single person to do all of that (which could be the trip night)

I would quite obviously volunteer for all of that if I was able
