Directions
Follow the bridleway marked on the O/S map at Bryn Rhyd Yr Arian and sty by the river bank passing the property Gerdden Isa on your left (and elevated above you). Not far past you will cross a stream which joins the river â€" on the O/S map there is a waterfall marked 200 yards up this stream. Walk up the stream for 100 yards or so and the adit is on your left BEFORE you reach the waterfall.

Me and Ant explored the whole adit today once we dug out a channel to drain the water as it was over wellie deep. The adit goes for around 300ft with a few blocked off passages with rocks. One passage you could crawl thorough but we didn't have suits on to try.

Updated this now ;)

The elderly farmer turned up on his tractor whilst kicking out a drainage channel . After a short chat he let us borrow a pickaxe to help with the digging.
