UCET Caving Trip Thursday 3rd September - Belgrave

Hi All

This week’s trip is to Belgrave mine near Llanfferres.

This is a nice little lead mine with a few areas to explore and for the more geologically minded, a nice slab of marble.

Walk in â€" Walk out, just a touch of crawling


Location: Belgrave

Meet time: 6:30-6.45pm

Meet point: Large layby on A494 Ruthin road between Llanffferres village and Llanarmon-yn-lal junction (link on the forum)

Equipment needed: Helmet and lamp, overalls/old clothes/caving suit, wellies/boots, gloves.

Notes: Suitable for novices and first timers. We also recommended a change of clothes if you are messy  
 
 
It would be useful to know who’s coming along so if you can pop a message on the forum or Facebook that would be great.

But there is another who wants to come. He will need a lid and lamp.
