UCET Trip for 12th April 2018

Location : Garreg Boeth

Meet Location : Hendre(Map Link)

Meet Time : 6:30pm

Equipment Needed : caving gear- expect water and mud.

Notes : As Murph couldn't contain himself last week with the Garreg Boeth mine in Hendre, we are going to have a look at the entrance(s) and if possible to get past blockage, some investigative work with the internal shafts.

If you are interested, meet time is 6:30 - 6:45pm. Parking is either at the old farmhouse (currently being renovated) on the back lane from Rhydymywyn to Hendre, which is preferable, or on the roadside in Hendre next to the line of cottages closest to The Oak.  Please park with consideration to the local residents and avoid blocking anyone in or out.

Non-members are welcome as well as new to see this aspect.  
You will need helmet, lamp, wellies, gloves and an oversuit.  The club can supply these but will need to know in advance.

It would be very helpful (not essential) If you could indicate that if are going.

I will be there  at the entrance a bit before you lot arrive to asses the condition will bring the thunder sticks incase  the rock needs a bit of a help to move also a line to measure  the topshaft , I will speak to mike over battery power,mick

thanks to all who helped  at GB we have made the connection to the adit  the next trip will see the passage cleared I will then get down to making the new entrance bigger 4ft square and will be stating from the top
if any one has any corrigated  sheets  they don't want I am after 4 required for for the 26th April,Mick
