Title: Something for the Bank Hol Weekend 29th, 30th and 2nd
Post by: Ian A on Apr 27, 2011, 09:31 PM
Is anyone "playing out" on ;

Friday 29th April (Bank Hol - Royal wedding)
Saturday 30th April
Monday 2nd May (Bank Hol)

Any suggestions will be considered but favourite are;

Mountains (walk/scramble)
Walks (hills etc.)
Caves
Mines
Mooching

Suggestions which will be vetoed without debate include;

Shopping
Town centres
Areas with shops
Shopping malls
Shopping centres
Cities
Climbing
Ice Climbing
Sport Climbing
Free Climbing
Anything that resembles climbing
The Beach
The Sea
Africa or the Middle East
The Eiffel Tower

.... Other suggestions may be considered, mulled over, chewed, accepted or spat out.

I just might pop down to see a mine in mid-wales I found previously here;

Anyone any thoughts ...... ?

Climbing is on the veto list - I did it for two years and it gives me the willies.

"fucking climbing" is something I haven't tried but it still involves climbing and is therefore vetoed in any event.

I have seen Tim's photos and you are all nutjobs :sick:

Something more sensible like scaling an arete on the far reaches of a mountain peak is substantially more appealing, if not suicidal :S

DIY has been added to the veto list.

:unsure:

Mike, ohh yer - coming right up - there are about a million! I'll email you smalish copies and if you want me to email full size copies or any (for printing out or whatever) then just let me know.....

Ian, DIY is the only option when stuck offshore - rotfl!! :whistle:

I assume you read ALL the posts on this thread before posing the question of Sat/Sun ?

On Saturday I am joining another "family" (invited)(no kids) for a walk along Cwm Prysor and a venture to what I (we) believe to be a gold adit similar to one I/we found 2 weeks ago (and put on our knowledge bank).

Sunday I am on a "naughty" trip and always was (Sun was excluded from the list of days out).

Sorry :huh: :whistle: :S

Why doesn't someone go for a little look at New Shaft with some tools - and then a pint in the Druid Inn. I.e. Get that bloody lock off in time for me coming home :-)
