Who likes formulae?
Interesting ‘calculator’ to calculate the energy transferred to the rope and cams, dependant on distance travelled and speed.
So how much energy would it take to melt through a rope again? :D

just ask boydy. he came down titan a couple of years that fast he melted the rope
as I have always preached a control decsent, there .s no medals for getting down first but you can damage your
spine if you don't get your feet down before your arse, happened on the gorge when an American sargent was
showing his men how to repel when he was on the gorge bottom holding his arse I told his men that's not the
way to do it the laughter could be heard at loggerheads at this point he bellowed all give me 50 and if your
still not humping when I get back up you will be humping mr gear all the way back to camp.
