Ladies & Gents: Would there be any chance of some of you giving a talk to this scout group about the local caves, caving in general & SRT etc?
They meet on a Friday evening at 7pm at the hall behind Gwernaffield church.
It would be most appreciated,
Thanks
Lee
If no one else volunteers
I will. Can use the same stuff I used at the young farmers thing. And Doug... If you're OK to help too that would be perfect. Can't do the next two Fridays but can do the one after that

Gents, Tim, Doug and I spoke with Mike,
Can I confirm you're all still ok for friday? Scouts start at 19:30hrs so I would suggest you arrive a little earlier to set up.
Will you be bringing the makeshift cave with you? I can help in setting up etc but am on nights so will have to leave early.
Can you let me know,
Thanks
Lee
I think Tim is doing the main event, but I will be there about 7pm to help unless I hear otherwise.
Doug.
Lee - yer should be ok - can i get in to set up from about 6:30? Will have quite a bit of stuff to set up - main issues, is there a projector screen (or a big plain white wall? (i'll bring the projector itself) how long do i/we need to speak for?
no, artificial cave is back up in derbyshire now - my landrover is off the road and it's a bit far to get it for the evening in any rate :-(
mike/ian etc, when we get asked 'can we take them on a trip to poachers' what is the correct response from an insurance perspective? and if it is possible how many kids helmets do we have? I assume a correct response would be yes, we can do it but a parent needs to come with each kid?

I think only the scout leader needs to come
Tim, that's great. The club has a projector and screen. In relation to insurance I believe the Scouts are insured through their own organisation but will clarify.
A talk of about 40 mins to an hour if poss and bring some kit along so the children can have a play.
Thanks again,
Lee
