Title: The Snowdon Horseshoe - 6th July 2014
Post by: Tony Salusbury on Jul 07, 2014, 09:58 PM
Myself and Mike went for a walk/hike along the ridges of Crib Goch and Y Lliwedd, known as the Snowdon Horseshoe, in a decent time of 5 and a half hours  :) .

Thanks Mike for a cracking day out.

edited within 24hours??!!! You'll be putting even Ian Adams to shame! I aim for 24months - and still miss the deadline! You had a Great day out by the looks of it. But who's that bloke you're with - i've not seen him for ages! :-)?

Spent all afternoon editing it. Makes a change doing a quick edit, my last 2 caving vids took months. Bloke in vid is a bit of a hermit, goes by the name of Mikey Sunshine ;)

It IS a 7 hour trip. The facts of the matter here (actually evidenced by the video) are that there were only two of you in the party (and notably no females) and you "machined" your way up the Goch, marauded across the arête casting others out of your way (also on the video) and there was no evidence of the mandatory "picnic" (required by girlies and thusly adding time).

Your automated, robotic motoring around the horseshoe does not constitute a "walk" and is therefore not governed by normal space/time mechanics.

 :P

Pmsl. We stopped twice for drinks/food. I thought Mike was gonna tread on that guys hands along the arete when I watched it back. I hung back a bit until there was a better place to pass him as he did look a bit wobbly.
