Managed to blag myself onto a Friends of WIlliamsons Tunnels open-day trip (organised by Olly from DCC)last Sunday. I didn't mess about too much getting photos but i grabbed a few really quick ones.
Their webpage is here: http://www.williamsontunnels.com/
I've been offered more trips for UCET if anyone wants one, and i've also offered them a UCET trip over here if they fancy it - I got the feeling simple walk in stuff would be what would suit them best!
Anyway, the history and details of the place are on their website so heres the photos....

great pic - yeah we need a UCET trip - I visited in 2009 - and we saw a totally different bit ????? I don't recognise anything from your pics set ????????
we went in via a visitors centre place - no ladders - well there was one small one - but it was deep in the tour and optional - to see their latest dig site
Great pics Tim. What were Police doing there?

of coarse the police are going to be involved. it's BLOODY LIVERPOOL
haha - no they were just dropping off some security freebies to them - some keep out trespassers signs and some dummy security cameras or something.
Few arses were twitching though i bet
