Title: Lost and forgotten in the hills.....
Post by: Tim Watts on Sep 18, 2013, 08:25 AM
High up in the hills, In an dark gloomy hollow.
An old man digs, The poor old Fellow.

His hands are like battered old oak leaves.
His eyes twinkle, likes nuggets of gold.
His name is Murph, the caver of old.

Years ago the man was geezer, But now a frailer old soul.

He still hunts his treasure, as he will forever,
Lost and forgotten in the hills.....

In a well known cave called OHA
A few UCET members went to play
An early start seen seven sore heads
As they were riddled from their beds
Mr Watts had prepped the duck
To be pleasantly low, with any luck
But the aspect of time flew away
Where 20 minutes turned to a day
Up and down the heights we go
To get to a waterfall missing a flow
Excited minds take for an explore
Where Dylan began to dig the floor
The others clambered up a rift
Which will hopefully meet the next Murphy’s shift
Five metres or so is all it could be
Before the team could break free
Until next time we will not know
For what exactly it is that it will show
Thank you guys for a spectacular trip
And to Tim who’s back on his big red ship.
