Location
SH 211 266
Directions
Got to “Rhiw†(on the Llyn Peninsula) and then head to Llanfaelrhys (there is nothing there). Note the location of the mine on the O/S map (it is marked as a mine) and you will see it is located just underneath “Llanfaelrhysâ€. Immediately above the mine is a road junction with an intersecting footpath â€" there is a layby here for 3-4 vehicles â€" park there.
Follow the footpath (not the road) down towards the sea and you will see adits (some are heavily disguised). There are several adits which will take you to the main workings â€" one that takes you to an upper working and one that is blind (on the wrong side of the small valley)

Description
On the Llyn Peninsula and miles from anywhere.
A nice little mine which can be walked around in circles and you can “pop out†of different adits. The main area contains two worked areas which are mineralising nicely with sulphur formations and some iron formations.
There are two flooded chambers inside â€" one looks like it can be dived to another area but from the workings I would guess this would not be substantial.
An upper section (reached from a higher adit outside) appears NOT to connect to the main area as there is substantial fly tipping which is NOT evident (I could not find it) in the lower workings. A rigged SRT descent would be required to investigate this area.
Numerous passages wander “hither and thither†with rail lines and water (as usual) but none over wellie depth.
A very dark mine (dark rock) which would be difficult to “film†but interesting nevertheless.
Unexplored Passages
The upper workings with the fly tipping are only partially explored
I “think†I covered everything else.
Digs
None known.
