Directions
Park at the Drover’s Arms in Rhewl (halfway between Denbigh and Ruthin) and walk across the road and over the bridge along Lady Bagot’s Drive.
Continue to walk up-river, along the road for about 1 mile until you see two limestone kilns up and off to the right of the road (on a bend immediately before a seriously overgrown and very small quarry).
The cave can clearly be seen on the other side of the river (of course it HAD to be on he other side)

Ungated. Permission requirement is unknown.

Phreatic in nature
Description
A small phreatic cave that quickly becomes choked with muddy silt (dry).
This cave is not much more than a “hands & knees†but is a prime candidate for a dig as it is possible there is a lot more beyond the choke especially as it is in close proximity to “Rhewl Cave (Prion)†which is known to be part of a concealed system within a bed of limestone.
