Blatent plug!
a) Sat 20th April is my birthday
b) During the evening we'll be debuting our new Singer as my band the Urban Cut rocks (hopefully) the Old Wine Vaults in Holywell.
I'd love it if everyone could turn up to buy me a birthday pint, failing that just tap along to the beat or even, if it comes to it, just point and pull funny faces at the keyboard player!
i\we will be there :woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo:
Ohh shit? Really???!!! :-(
hahaha - hopefully it'll be a good un.
First gig my mrs is coming to where she'll actually be able to have a drink - she'll need someone to look after her!
your asking me to look after sarah. i look after her enough when your on the rig oops did i say that
i want to throw bottles of piss at you.. Dan Sturman also thinks this is a good idea..
Managed to swap my late shift so should be there for about 8.15-8.30 now :-)
Just wanted to say a big massive thanks to everyone for turning out. I was chuffed to bits! :-)
It was a great night Tim! The new vocalist soon settled in too :) . I need to have a "geek" chat with you in the pub sometime. The lead guitarist was using a couple of effects pedals during "Run to you". I'm assuming they were made by Boss. It sounded like the Boss "Blues Driver" but it didn't look like the "Blues Driver".
The highlight for me was definitely "Go your own way" = Awesome! Titanium was a close 2nd.
Looking forward to the next one B)
Awesome night indeed. Had a great night. You've got a cracking band there Tim. So many great songs,, and I agree with Rob that "go your own way" was the mutts nuts.
cool gig man
cheers peeps. No he doesn't use a blues driver - (my old man does). I'll double check what he's using - know they are a couple of Boss pedals though.
Go your own way was one of quite a few songs I brought from my previous band :-) Its always a cracker and has the bonus of being simple to play :-)
