It's bright enough, just not as bright as they are claiming. Not a chance in hell that's capable of putting out 1800 Lumens. The LED is only rated for 1000, the drivers are usually shit,(You would need to push 6A+ through the LED to get that output, and it would dramatically reduce the LED's life, and very possibly blow the shit out of it altogether) without sagging like a motherfucker because of the series resistance. I can't think of a 18650 that can sustain a 6A+ draw either.

Bright for a handtorch, short bursts only, and cheap. Just know it's limitations, apart from the above, it's "waterproofing" is probably shit, and the build quality may well be questionable.

I bought one of these and butchered it to use the led and running gear in an oldham cap lamp. It' was a great little torch to be honest, really bright! But, as ali was saying, there's no way it was capable of 1800 lumens!
I'd definitely recommend it as "just another torch" but you don't really want to have to rely on it as your only source of light or as your main backup underground
