I've received the following information as a member of the North Wales Miners Association Trust:
I'll probably go to the Monday night meeting about the Mine Rescue Station as I feel it's an important piece of mining heritage. So if anyone wants a lift, just hola...
It appears that our application for a grant to do up the libary van has been sucessful subject to some conditions. We will hold an informal meeting at Bersham colliery on Sunday, March 3rd. at 11.a.m. to decide on our priorities. All are welcome to attend. It will only be a short meeting to allow people to attend the Crusaders game later on.
On Monday March 4th. at 6.30 the Council Planning Committee will decide on the application to adapt the Mine Rescue Station. Alan Jones will be speaking for three minutes and it would show the strength of feeling if as many people as possible came along. Meet outside the Guildhall at 6.00 p.m.
This message is only going to people on e-mail so if you know of anyone who is not online and would be interested please pass it on
