This took me all day, and many tears to achieve...

Great work John - The first of many 'Nicholson' videos i hope. I assume the organ music is played by you? Captures the drama and elation of traversing the ridge perfectly! Shame viability wasn't better for you from the summit of snowdon but it didn't appear to dampen spirits at all! Lack of visibility probably a good thing across the ridge if anyone had a fear of heights!

Does this assault of the mountains point to the potential for us getting you onto a rock face for a bit of climbing?

The plan was to do the Horseshoe, but time slipped away and we had to dash back down the Llanberis track. To do the full Horshoe you really need to get parked at Pen-y-pass before 9.00 am. I hope we will do this again soon as a weekend trip with Bella and anyother UCET members or friends.

The music (Fanfare by Guy Eldridge) was basically compiled as a midi and them played on Salisbury Cathedral organ samples using Hauptwerk software.  It may not be to everyone's taste!

Nice job John .... you missed a trick not including yourself in the video but it was well put together and very enjoyable  :)

It was done really for the French group.  There are lots of bits I forgot to record, and lots that did not come out well or shaky or blurd that went in the bin.  I am slowly getting the hang of 'Moviemaker' though!

If you can't take the Willis Tubas in Salisbury then turn the knob down.
I would love to play this music very loudly in a big cavern - like Aberllefennig.

Hi Richard, thanks for your posting above.
I have been trying to contact you to ask if you can lead a trip through Maesofferen mine one Sunday.  Have you seen the topic I have posted about weekend trips?

Can you send me an e-mail to biopoweruk@hotmail.com
It is SO FRUSTRATING that the PM system is not working.

I would like to fix a Maesofferen Sunday trip on a weekend that suits you and when I do not have Bella (she hates slate mines).
