Title: Saturday - Sunday, 22- 23 September
Post by: John Nicholson on Sep 19, 2012, 08:08 PM
Bella and I plan to go to the Mold Food Festival on Saturday, and may stay late if the music is good.  We may try to camp somewhere in the truck overnight.  Any suggestions?

For Sunday I have suggested Trefriw Sulphur Mine.  If you are interested please respond on this topic.  It is an awesome place on two levels.  The top cavern is very colourful and smells fantastic.  It is muddy and slippery, but no actual climbing.

The lower level is a long addit partly flooded with blood red water, and also slippery yellow mud in places. You will need wellies and old clothes that can be washed or thrown away afterwards.

Meet at the Fairy Falls Hotel in the middle of Trefriw, at 11.00am Sunday.  I am making it a late start so people can get there from a distance.  Bring a pack lunch, and we may also have a beer at the pub afterwards.

Cae Coch Sulphur mine is fantastic - I wish I could come and film underwater in the blood red waters.

.... I am, sadly, away on the sea cliff tops on this day

John, we're on at 4:30pm for 45 mins.

Not 100% sure if we're still playing the Pentan that night or not. Our existing singer is doing the food festival but then has to go straight to the airport to fly to Italy (shes taken a job placement out there). We have a replacement singer and we're 50/50 about using her for the pentan that evening but we're not sure we've rehearsed enough with her just yet.

Is all the music at one location? Where?
Is the festival location easy to find?
Can you suggest a good free place to park outside the town?
