There is a trip to the Cambrian Slate mine at Glyn Ceiriog on Sunday 9th Sept.
Meet time : 11:00am
Meet in centre of Glyn Ceiriog (near Llangollen), by the little roundabout (i.e. small white pimple in the road). You'll be in the right place if you look out for a small Spar shop on one of the street corners.
Bring change of clothes: you will get a little wet.
Time for the trip 2-3 hours.
:)
Going so far are;

Bella
Mr B (Martin)

Thanks for your concern snd advice steve. I was in Cambrian on Monday, and I did spot the roof-fall (couldn't miss it!). However, the water level was ok, there has been no rain since then, and none forecast, so we should be alright.
I've asked for this off so i'm a maybe for now :)
Thanks for checking it out, and your assurance Richard!
isnt the CRTT trip happening now then?
This trip is for tame dudes who don't want to get in to any trouble with the authorities above.

..... Yes ;)
'Is not the CRTT happening now then?'
'Yes'

Yes, the CRTT is NOT happening then.
Thanks Richard for guiding us all through this interesting little mine - but with much unique character. What a lovely peaceful village, and an amazing scramble over the mountain back to the A5 afterwards!
