Description
A few short caves on the beach accessible when the tide is out.
Cave #1 is very short with little more than a tapered crack which quickly becomes impassable.
Cave#2 is elevated away from the beach and is short but quite cool. A large chamber exists with a lot of flow formations on one wall where the other wall is dry and coated with a calcium salt (probably nitrate). There is a small, blocked crawl passage in the back right corner.
Cave #3 is on the beach and is a crack which leads to a small, sea flooded chamber. It is void of decoration; no doubt as a result of being habitually battered by the sea.

Is this where you went to this weekend? We explored these ages ago and I did not think to post pictures. I think there is another around the corner, and also another passageway (that may have been a mine) under the house (now the main hotel). It is easy to get to from the link passageway that goes from the concrete pirate ship to Dolphin.

They have that closed off now John
I'm pretty certain that one of these caves was used in an episode of The Prisoner
