Title: Photographer Says Hi!
Post by: Xan Asmodi on Apr 09, 2012, 10:57 PM
Hi all!

Just thought I'd pop by and say hello! I'm a photographer who specialises in the more extreme end of things and I've recently discovered I love mines. :woohoo: I've done two so far with a third planned for this week. I've added my Hendre pics to the knowledge bank as I like contributing, not just taking.

I've got a website - here (http://xan.org.uk) - where you can see my previous work. If it's okay with the admin, I'll add a link to here on my links page.

Looking forward to getting out, hopefully meeting a few of you and seeing some more mines.

Cheers,

Xan

Hi Xan,

Welcome! Yes, its perfectly fine to add a link. Much appreciated.

Get in touch anytime you like - we run trips every thursday evening and are always keen to have people join us - particularly as you're so good with a camera - you might teach us something! :-)

Thanks for the welcome, and I love helping people get the most out of their cameras.

I'll have to see about getting out on trips, as I work shifts and am a university student one top.

Link added :)

I also try leave the urbex stuff at the door. I've found it to be quite contentious on more than one website. Even down to the forum I frequent most of the time.

I do indeed know Suboffender from 28DL

Is there any way to join remotely? I.E. Paypal? I'd like to contribute to the other areas of the forum but don't know how often I'd be able to get to meetings

Hi Xan,

There is a Paypal account that you can use to pay/join  - however, we do need you to complete an application form with some basic details first (which I can email if you like).

My email is Ian@ucet.org.uk - drop me a line and I can fire one to you  ;)
