Anyone interested or can get time off
The Clive Engine House on the former Talargoch lead mine housed a 100
inch diameter cylinder pumping engine. The building is a scheduled
ancient monument and is being restored. Fiona Gale, Denbighshire County
Archaeologist, will be conducting tours around the site on Friday March
23rd at 2pm, 4pm and 6pm. Ideally would intending visitors let Fiona
know either by phone - 01824 708262 or by email -
fiona.gale@denbighshire.gov.uk
The building is at NGR SJ 056 800 (adjacent to the A547). Cars may be
parked at the adjacent Graig Fawr holiday camp car park.
I used to wonder around this place as a kid the area is riddled with shafts
Awesome building though
