Tim, I've managed to get it off work, so please put me down for the trip again :)
There is a matter of a permit - I have been contacted by a representive of the CNCC and I am in the process of requesting permission. If this proves impractical the trip may need to be moved to another cave where a permit is not required.
Regards,
Ian
Cheers Ian,
We may have left it a bit late in which case we can easily do somewhere else - Lost Johns was only a suggestion really.
I have word back from CNCC, unfortunately, Lost John's is closed during April, May and June and access is not possible. The trip will need to be re-organised to another "hole" somewhere else.
I now have the booking process for a permit (for any of the Yorkshire holes) and if the trip is to go to a hole that requires a permit, please let me know in good time and I will apply for one.
The suggested booking time is 2-3 months in advance.
Thanks.
Ian
cheers sec thanks for your time
Alum pot anyone? :)
I'm easy.
I'm easy.
don't need the hangers old boy its yorkshire.
eco bolts everywhere.
ohh yer - keep forgetting - just been cutting cover for the trailer - got some glue to do doubled over seams, corners etc and then got some eyelets and strong elastic stuff. Assuming Guy is coming, its a full bus.
Tim, could i borrow a wetsuit if youve got one spare ? I promise to keep it on and not
Do any full montys :p
hywel and joel are'nt coming so a bit more leg room in the club bus.
ps don't forget to give tim a few bob for fuel as these enfin landy's are thirsty buggers
Deano - theres one in for you.
Thirsty? I have you know that it does a healthy 20 miles per gallon and a trip to yorkshire gives me change out of £100 - just.... ;-)
Deano - if u don't promise to do a full monty i'm not letting you on the bus!
S-H-1-T! Its 1:32am, I'm just back from playing an AWESOME gig with the band, am half baked and have to be up in a very few hours to drive to yorkshire!! #

Perhaps your scouse measurements are right after all
cheeky
It's actually written on the first page of the cncc rigging guide that updated rigging guides to several caves, including Rowten pot are available on-line :P
I've never done it, but looks like a good system.
We didn't get to the bottom. Guy descended the 70m pitch to find the rope was to short as the guide we had said it was a 60m pitch.
