Any SRT ?
(For those who don't have the kit)

suspect that as its one of only three days i'm going to be at home in a six week period, and having only got back from skiing the night before, i might have run out of brownie points. But, just in case i manage to slip out unnoticed, what have you got in mind - i want to nip down to the 1st sump to make some marks on the walls at some stage.
Mike, Anyone proposing a formal UCET trip should aim to specify the following ...
· Name of trip (i.e. the normal name of the cave, system or mine)
· Date and time
· Name of leader or deputy [or just a name, who we all know will be the 'leader']
· Location of meeting place (if possible with Google map reference)
· Brief description of the terrain expected in the trip, any technical aims, and issues
· Warnings of any technical requirements that people must meet i.e. over wellie water, SRT
· Location of pub meeting afterwards
· Links to any web pages that show more about the system to be explored.
Well that is a lot to put down, but how about a bit more info, like Ian said SRT or not, expected duration, who is supplying the crumpets, if Tim is not there.
the trip was intended foe noobies but if anyone fancies a bit of (shitty) srt in oha they are more than welcome to be PRO-ACTIVE and get involved.
but like i said it was requested by alison as she has'nt done oha yet.
whether she does it again is another matter

Mike, how long a trip are you planning to do?
Mike, how long a trip are you planning to do?
He is not planning on SRT (goodness knows I asked enough) ... The trip could be between 2-4 hours depending on how much you root around in there - I doubt you could get much more out of it if you avoid the SRT ...
Will be suitable for Merc50 too - expect to get totally sh!tted up from head to toe and soaking wet. You will need a complete change of clothes.
You will also exit cold.
 :S

remember last time we where in there when you went through the canal and up the knotted rope ect ect .well thats what we are doing again, depending on numbers some of us might go to sump one ,bring your srt just in case. this applies to alison as well
Thanks Ian, must be bloody tired to have missed that.
