We went a couple of years ago, it is very impressive and you only get to see a tiny part of it. Worst bit is the 400 steps down, which are all wood and we had to queue on all the way down took about 30mins with no fire breaks or sprinklers it was like climbing down a chimney. Cracow is a lovely town, but was getting a reputation as the stag/hen night capital.

I had no idea that anyone from the caving club had been! It looks a fantastic mine, but I think how busy it is would perhaps detract my from my enjoyment of the mine.

Paris catacombs for me this year, then perhaps this the next.
