Ian, my sten light always reverts to the lowest setting automaticaly if the battery goes below a certain level so as to conserve some light for the maximum time.:dry:

Thanks Doug ..... Buuuuut .... my battery is fully charged (or at least I think it is) as the green light is on, on the charging unit indicating that it IS charged :S
