Title: Weekend 1st & 2nd October
Post by: John Nicholson on Oct 01, 2011, 09:26 AM
Are there any plans for activities this weekend?
If anyone would like to come over to Snowdonia then I can meet up for a walk in the mountains or an easy mine walk. I live between Tregarth and Bangor. John N.

Not me John (Sorry) - I have a migraine booked for today (Saturday) and a trip with other friends booked for going up a mountain on Sunday (migraine permitting)

Sorry John, I was originally planning a trip through the Sumps in Ogof Hesp Alyn for today but i'm busy re-laying block paving at the front of my house this weekend so everything else has fallen by the wayside.

It started out a nice day on Sunday, still warm but cloudy. I began to make up more biofuel, and attend to work in the greenhouse, but sudden squalls saw me chasing indoors, to check this web site and discover your message Tim.

I also followed your link to the exploration of Ogof Hesp Alyn. Gosh, what an adventure! But I must admit that I'm not ready for deep sumps quite yet! I do note the comments made by the team on clearing the sumps - covered in grey mud!... "This IS fun!".

Also impressed by your video on the cliffs of Tryfan.
