Upon getting back from flight back home from aberdeen today, turned mobile back on to be greeted by a number of texts from NWCRO r.e. dog fallen into spar mine at hendre. Including the final message to stand down, that the dog was out and unhurt despite a rather large fall. Happy at the outcome but upset to have missed on the excitement!
Anyone involved / know more?
6 members of cave rescue were there. I had just got out of Rhiwbach when Miles got the call.. too far for him to come over so I said i would call in on the way home ..dont know the other four that turned up but Douggie and MarC were there ..then Douggie got the beer in so was happy I called in. Doggy was a spaniel and a little sorry for itself ..well wouldnt you be after a 70ft fall but a happy out come all the same.
It made the news ....
