Notes : This is a lead mine with a “Derbyshire Key” lid. There is a squeezy section early on (4 feet) then an internal incline down to the workings. Some of the mine accepts water in wet weather and this can leave muddy water. Be prepared to need a change of clothes. Knee pads recommended.  

Suitable for novices with some experience, not suitable for debut cavers.

I'll be there

I’ll be going to rhyd alyn

I heard that they may need some help at Rhyd Alyn when I was at Alderley Edge a couple of weeks ago and will be happy to come along for that one.  I was going to give this Thursday a miss and come along next Thursday but the High Court has gone and kiboshed by union-mandated day off for the 16th!
