Title: Cambrian Caving Photography Course
Post by: Ian A on Jan 31, 2023, 10:20 PM
Well known cave photographer Mark Burkey is again running a photography course for Cambrian Caving Council based at SWCC. The cost will be £40 per person.

The course is aimed at beginners and those wishing to advance their skills in flash/strobe photography.

This course is NOT aimed at phone photographers or light painting.

Accommodation is NOT provided but can be booked at SWCC by contacting the SWCC bookings secretary on bookings@swcc.org.uk

Please note that SWCC is now a cashless venue if you need to pay hut fees etc.

Attendees are encouraged to bring any photography kit they may have. (Mark will bring extra strobes and a spare camera for people to try if they don't yet have their own).

Some of the two days will be spent inside the caving hut and some will be spent underground therefore attendees will need to bring their own personal caving kit for a horizontal trip into OFD.

To book a place please contact Richard Hill, CCC Training Officer trainingofficer@cambriancavingcouncil.org.uk
When booking please let me know your club name so that we can sort necessary permits.

Best Regards

Richard Hill
CCC Training Officer

Any idea of dates?  I will be interested.  I have a Nikon DSLR camera and some flashguns with slave units.  Saturday 25th March will be ideal as I am due on a "long weekend" then.
