I have received the following email asking for help with regards to Parc Mine. If you feel able to help, perhaps you could contact Richard Cheal directly ;)
Hi there,
I’m keen to reach out to anyone who may have sub-surface knowledge of Parc Mine (Gwydir Forest) and the associated setts all the way along the Principal lode to Cyffty mine. We have a project with the Coal Authority looking to reduce quantity and improve quality of the water discharging from Parc and without recent sub-surface knowledge, the hydraulic connections, blockages, inflows are very difficult to assess with certainty.
If anyone in your membership would be willing to have a conversation to discuss (or potentially meet on site) I would be very keen to hear from them.
I’m based in Shrewsbury and will be returning to Parc in mid-March for a couple of weeks of site walkovers.
Many thanks
Regards
Richard
