A little nosey inside the Orme again, but this time in a different fashion!
The 1890 storage reservoir for Llandudno, underneath the old putting green at the top of Hill terrace!
The piping from Llyn Dulyn and Melyn Llyn was a little too small for Llandudnos growing needs, so this storage reservoir was built for Summer demands.
When the pipework was upgraded from 6" to 15" it became redundant.
The water was deeper than my wellies and very very cold!!!!
Here's some of my pics from last night
Where did the ladder come from. I thought it was srt
The 24ft ladder was brought along by one of the GOES members
Seeing as how I had to miss this trip we will hopefully have a UCET visit here shortly :)

Might be worth looking at doing something else whilst we are here as it is only a very very short trip
More beer time
It is disappointingly small :(
We could make a video on the lines of "Revenge of the Reservoir zombies ..."
Richard, if you do organise a trip, the hardest thing is getting the bloody lid off the access grate ...
Ian
Hopefully we will have other stuff to do :)
Mochdre Mine at the same time buddy :)

Suggest doing them at different times, unless your saying that you have access to time travel technology we can't be in two places at once.
Same evening should be doable.

All is hopefully in hand!
