Howdy Doody,

Here are the details for our next Thursday night trip;

Spar Mine
Spar Mine adventure. We shall be wandering around the mine all the way to the water at the bottom and the “bridge” that harbours a Balrog. If you find him, you have to bang your staff hard on the ground and bellow “You shall not pass!” A great opportunity for novice and inexperienced cavers as well as a great fun trip for stalwarts.

Location : Spar Mine
Meet Place : Car Park opposite the Oak Inn
Meet Date : Thursday 2nd December 2021
Meet Time : 6:30pm-6:45pm onwards
Suitability : Suitable for novices
Requirements : Wellies, overalls, helmet, lamp, gloves, (Staff to ward off the Balrog)

If you do fancy coming and you need to borrow equipment (like a lid/lamp) then you MUST reply to the UCET forum so that Mike knows to bring the stuff you need (it will be no good emailing me or posting to Facebook this week).
