Anybody from UCET heading over to NAMHO next weekend? Unfortunately I will not be able to make the full conference as I am in the middle of buying a narrowboat and I need to get it transported up to Lancashire then get all the paperwork sorted out for it. May be able to attend on the Sunday 4th July. Anyway the continuing COVID restrictions will no doubt put a kibosh on some of the more fun aspects of the conference! Will be able to make the AGM the following Sunday.
I might be able to help you get it transported for you.

I've already made arrangements for that.

Why aren't you cruising it up to Lancashire?

Probably on a landlocked body of water.
Or missing an engine.
Just booked my tickets for this year's NAMHO which will be held at Grosmont on the North Yorkshire Moors. This time all COVID restrictions should have been lifted by then and I do not plan on making any big purchases like last year which meant I did not go to the one in Shropshire.
This time the camping is arranged in a field adjacent to the venue unlike last year when the sites were scattered all over Shropshire and the conference is being organised by the Cleveland Mining Heritage Society and Chris Twigg who I know well and I am sure he will do an excellent job.
