the entire area has been reworked by FC // NRW - with plantations - so navigation " off the tracks " is often horrendous

bottom line - its got lots of known stuffs - and more potential

obvios fenced adit above a tip - right next to forrestry track

wet @ entrance - but soon reaches dry passage

2 unexplored shafts - 1 40m [ on left branch ] - read the warn note from roy fellows

2nd - a 10m drop in a stope - with obvious way on below [ [ 3 plates and nuts required for studs ]

a stope on left branch reaches daylight - both main drives end in collapse

" useless adit " - no proper name known

a flat out crawl under slumping adit portal - into knee deep water - mixed progress - walk // crawl // stoop

to a collapse with a peice of ceramic siol pipe

thats it - a trip only for the insane or compleatist

this was re entered and stabilised over a number of years - by a team headed by roy fellows - read up on the adit now site

needs doing - it looks bonkers - and i now know its true location

the other sfafts and rift - are unknown explores - that need SRT and gear - we shall return

no pictures - cos i CBA with cameras any more
