Consider the less fortunate
When you see a scare crow, alone and looking sad,
just stop and have a chat with him, and try to cheer the lad

its a thankless job he has to do, stuck there on a pole
with barely any training, for this important role

he'd like to scare the birds away, but he has no voice to shout
nor even does he have a stick, that he could wave about

so the pesky crows just mock him, and there's nothing he can do
when they perch upon his woolen hat, and cover him in poo

so why not shoo the birds away and cut the lad some slack
and let him have a bit of peace, until the crows come back.
