Notes : This is a trip down to the tunnel to see what works needs to be done to clear the track etc. Likely this will be the trip for a couple of weeks to get some traction on this (then I foresee a weekend day trip maybe
We could do with a couple more spades taking down as there is only 2.
I'll see what I can do
Sorry folks, won't be out this week. Something has come up.
Can peeps please get on board with this Trip as the train is for everyone.
Cheers
ok I am in, got some stuff to take down to the train, I will keep an eye on here and not bother if no one else is going.
If I am going on the Rhyd alyn trip does anyone fancy helping with the tre eden owain dig as it needs 2 people.
I'm hopefully about tomorrow eve...
Should make this trip - will bring a spade and key...
Dave
Adam and Steve Kennedy are also going
I will be at the chapel car park at about 6.30
Looks like the track clearing will have to wait, the water level is up again over the track :(
How did you get on with the train Doug

OK, got a bit more to do probably have it back together with another trip, unfortunately though the water level has been well over the pipes and all the tools and stuff are buried in silt, a right mess, and there is loads more silt on the track.
also there has been a collapse on the way in, upper level, part of the false floor has collapsed just after the old jack roll, taken some of the path with it.
Cheers Doug.
I'll try and sort the collapse next time I'm in, any ideas of what's needed
Probably just a traverse rope to clip on to
