I've added a probable missing word, (in bold) Should help ensure the insult is properly directed towards it's intended recipients rather than to the general public. Oh, and don't forget this thread is in the public section of the forum.
And,,, twat in the English dictionary is a pregnant fish so what I have I said that's wrong
Nicely corrected Ant! ;)
if you want to go all the way I should have opened inverted comma's for direct speech and ant did not get it right
as there should have been a comma after...to you , so if you knew what I was talking about why bring up sad
people just like to bring people down as they have nothing better to Dothan to slate there mates you need to stop and think back when you got ribbed from your fellow caver's I have not got time to check every dot and letter, try
throwing your energy into bringing new blood into the club, no doubt you could make a nice story about the club and all in proper English ,sorry I became a director of 2 ltd companies when I only had a bit of schooling as I was
in borstal for 3 years but its not about how you can write it, its about how you can do it , I need say no more.
my other half says I should not let it get to me but I am what I am so as from now I will not get myself in this position as I stop using the forum
Pregnant fish? I'm pretty sure Ian said they were troglodyte's if they lived in a cave dude

So you believe that describing someone as a pregnant fish is not an insult? Intresting.

Michel,
In this age of social media, most people don't have a concept of punctuation. They believe punctuation is there just to create silly little smiley faces and that's it. However, correctly placed punctuation can be useful in establishing context. A classic example would be "Let's eat Grandma" and "Let's eat, Grandma". The careful placement of a comma can make a big difference between encouraging cannibalism of your grandmother, and inviting your grandmother to eat with you. The latter is socially acceptable, the former... Not so much.
Generally speaking, we can cope without most forms of punctuation in writing, so long as there are commas and full stops to break up statements into distinct chunks, otherwise it takes the reader significantly more time and effort to decipher the correct meaning of what is written than it would have taken the writer to add in correct punctuation.
Now, grammar, why worry about grammar. It's true that there are people out there who fuss over individual words, and yes, it is a good idea to try to get individual words right as it can make a big difference to the context of what is written, Here's an example "Do you subscribe to the magazine Which?" and "Do you subscribe to the magazine Witch?"
Now, I have to go to work so I'm afraid I cannot add more detail.
Mick,
I'm with Debs.
;)
Ian
