Hi folks.
Very late this week, sorry!
As most have indicated towards Doug's dig, we will concentrate on stabilising the shaft a bit more this wèek.
Rhyd Alyn trip is cancelled.
Trip 1: Assist at Doug's well/mine dig to help shore up the shaft. Although Doug is partying, there will be some non-ucet members carrying on.
Meet time of 6:30pm onwards at Dougs ranch if you fancy it.
Just need wellies, wet weather gear(?), gloves. caving suit is optional just to keep clothes clean. If you wish to have a short look inside the mine, bring helmet and lamp plus a change of clothes (it is a wet one).
For those who are completely unsure where dougs house is, I can meet you in the layby at the bottom of the Glan-y-afon about 6:45pm. I am unlikely to be earlier than that!
Sorry for late notice.
Steve.
I'm available for a trip tomorrow. If we do Rhyd Alyn I wouldn't mind an early start for that trip, On holiday this week.
I won't be out so if you're doing r/a you'll need a key. Just saying
I *might* make it to Doug's dig, if nothing else then to see if the tank can be levelled and aligned better...
May take some wood and a hydraulic jack to assist shoving it into the right spot.
Dave
will get over to dougs if I can to see if I can get the zip line up
