United Cavers Exploration Team

This weeks trip is to Garreg Boeth, Hendre.

MEET TIME: 6:30-45pm

MEET POINT: A451 Mold-Denbigh road in Hendre. Parking on roadside at end of cottages closet to The Oak freehouse. Please be considerate to local residents and avoid parking directly in front of cottages and DO NOT block access to any drives or gateways.

As it is Greg's Birthday, we have been informed that Greg is bringing cake!!

There will be some work in the mine installing maypole ladders whilst Murph plays about on the surface for footway shaft. There is also the option of an exploration trip for those who have not entered before.

The trip is open to non-members but you will need a helmet and lamp, wellies, caving suit/overalls/old clothes, a change of clothes for after as you will get muddy and wet. A pair of gloves is recommended.  The club can loan you a helmet and lamp but will need to know in advance.

I'll meet you but bettwer not do the underground bit - i'll do surface mooch. look for smoke and or listen for whistle - has anyone still got any of those big smoke bombs i got a while ago?

Mick has still got one Tim, he's bringing it with him

he's not. I spoke to him this evening - but i think i've still got a couple left. Will have something sorted by tomorrow evening anyway.
