United Cavers Exploration Team

There is a word in English its in the caver,s guide
 its also in his bible that’s close to his side
 there are 4 letters in  this caver,s alphabet
 one at a time in the front and this is what you get

DOPE     This a human person trying hard to be a mole
               digging and pushing underground to make a bigger hole
               we call this person a caver he gives his heart and soul
               all this bloody effort for just to get his goal

ROPE     This is the caver,s companion his life hangs on this line
               he checks this rope on every pitch each and every time
               he makes sure its safe before he has to go
               clips on his descender and drops to depths below

STOPE    This is a man made rift  be assured there not rare
                The thoughts of boulders  coming down give you all a scare
                On top of this there,s overhangs and rubbing points galore
                And now and then there,s waterfalls with a mighty roar

HOPE     To sum it up  with all above and place it in one line
               There is a Dope on a Rope  going down a dangerous Stope
               I,ve saved this word till last it surely must be the best
               Without it in your head this may become your final rest
